Where it all began
Shaune and Tiffany Ledbetter wanted to create a company where people mattered, a place where employees could feel valued, supported, respected, and encouraged to grow. They wanted to build a workplace where people could provide for their families, develop their skills, become better at what they do, and genuinely enjoy coming to work each day.

The "Ledbetter family"
In June 2014, Shaune and Tiffany Ledbetter took a leap of faith and started Ledbetter Electric out of their home in Marysville, California. Beginning in a small, roughly 900 square-foot detached shop with Shaune as the only person in the field, building the business required a lot of sacrifice. Shaune continued working full-time for another electrical contractor while also building Ledbetter Electric on the side, working two jobs as he and Tiffany pursued their dream of creating something of their own. After about a year, the business had grown enough for Shaune to leave his other job and dedicate himself to Ledbetter Electric full-time. What started with one person, one small shop, and a whole lot of hard work became the foundation for the family-driven company it is today.

When we say “the Ledbetter family,” we mean more than those connected by blood. We mean everyone who works alongside us and helps make Ledbetter Electric what it is. Still proudly family-owned and operated by Shaune and Tiffany, Ledbetter Electric has grown with family members and incredible employees who have become family of their own. From the field to the office, every person plays an important role, and we’re grateful for the people who have grown with us, supported the company, and become part of our story. We genuinely care about our team, celebrate their successes, support them through challenges, and consider them part of the Ledbetter family.

Moved into the Local 228 to rent office space across from the office now since we didn't have an office area yet.
Finished our building, equipped with a shop, office, kitchen, and more, and fully moved in and had a grand opening.
We've grown so much and will continue to grow, and we want to thank the city of Marysville, our customers and community, and everyone who has supported us along the way.
